Super Easy! Delicious Rib-Eye Steak with Roasted Garlic Butter.
The ingredients are simple and the taste SUPERB!
Summer great grilling recipe… winter stove top with oven finish!
Ingredients:
1 head of garlic
1/4 tsp olive oil
Dot of butter
Salt & pepper to taste
5 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temp)
2 teaspoons minced thyme
1 teaspoon marjoram, minced Fine Sea Salt & freshly ground pepper
Rib eye steaks
Directions for Roast Garlic: Remove loos outer leaves from garlic head. Cut off the top of the bulb so that each clove is open at the top. Cloves must be pierced for steam release. Drizzle with 1/4 teaspoon olive oil and dot with butter. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper… Wrap the garlic head loosely in aluminum foil or place in a garlic baker and cover with domed lid.

Place garlic into a cold oven and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove garlic from oven and allow to cool.
Peel roasted garlic cloves, mash and combine with the unsalted
butter, thyme and marjoram mixing well stirring until smooth. Season with salt & pepper.
Now it’s time to complete the steak… Grind fresh pepper onto steaks press into meat. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in heavy skillet, add steaks and sear quickly to lock in juices. About 2 minutes per side. 

Pull after 8 minutes in a 400 degree oven … medium rare…. finish for nice thick steaks.
After placing steak on plate smother with the creamed butter…
