This is an easy dessert to prepare… Gather ingredients… below
Ingredients:
1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
2 cups cold milk
1 package Jell-O Instant pudding & pie filling chocolate flavor
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1 Tablespoon Cherry Liqueur or Framboise (my favorite)
1/2 cup chocolate wafer crumbs
fresh mint leaves
Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup milk at low speed until smooth with mixer. Add pudding mix and remaining milk. Beat until smooth 1 -2 minutes.
Mix together cherry pie filling and liqueur. Reserve a few cherries for garnish. Spoon pudding mixture evenly into serving dishes, sprinkle with wafer crumbs. Cover with pie filling. Top with remaining mixture. Garnish with a mint leaf and reserved cherries. Chill until ready to serve.
(The chocolate crumbs can easily be created by using a grater. It only takes a few minutes to grate by hand.For this recipe it only takes 1/2 package of the chocolate crackers.
